Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How many drinks does a gallon of daiquiri mix make?

One gallon of mix yields approximately five gallons of daiquiri. Five gallons makes about 65 10 oz cups of daiquiri or 80 8 oz cups of daiquiri.

  • How long does the product take to freeze?

When using cold water, it will take approximately 45 minutes for the product to freeze into the typical daiquiri consistency. To speed up the process, and especially if you are holding your event outside, we recommend putting ice cold water into the machine when you mix your product. In warmer temperatures it may take longer for the product to freeze.

  • Can I set up and plug the machine in anywhere?

No. The machines are big and bulky and difficult to move around. We deliver and set up the machines so you don’t have to move it yourself. It is important to know exactly where you are going to want the machine when we deliver it. The machine can be plugged into a standard 20 AMP outlet, however it cannot be shared with any other electronic device. It is also important to remember the machine cannot run off an extension cord longer than 25 feet.

  • Does the concentrate already have alcohol in it?

No, we do not provide the alcohol, but we do provide mixing instructions telling you exactly how much to add, but it is up to you how strong you make the daiquiris.  For recipes containing alcohol though, we recommend you have 1.75 to 2 liters rum or tequila and 2 gallons of water for each batch. All of our recipes and flavors can be prepared without alcohol for exciting smoothies and children’s parties. Note: if you add too much alcohol, your product may not freeze.

  • When do I need to add more product?

We recommend beginning to add product a little bit at a time once the machine empties half way. This ensures you never run out and that it stays consistently frozen throughout your event.

  • Do I need to clean my machine after my party or event?

No. Just drain any remaining product and we do the rest!

  • How many people will be able to drink from the machine?

It depends how many drinks each guest will be consuming. Each batch of mix will serve about 25 people with three drinks each.

  • Can the machines be used for a kid’s party?

Yes! All of our concentrates can be made sans alcohol for kids or adults! Ask us about our 100% juice product line!

  • How many of my guests will choose to drink daiquiris even if I’m serving beer and wine?

Depending on the party and time of year, about 50 to 70% of your guests will drink the frozen drinks.

  • How should I send my logo to be put on a balloon?

We ask that you provide us with a PDF image of your logo or artwork at least 5” by 5” as any artwork smaller than this or requiring touch up will be charged an extra $50.00 per hour.

  • How much does it cost to have my logo or artwork printed on a balloon?

Set up fees for custom imprinted balloons start at $50.00 per logo and color, a second side or color ink will add an additional $40.00 charge and an ink color change costs $20.00 each.

  • How long will my helium filled balloons float?

12” latex balloons will fly for 12 to 22 hours and 17” latex balloons will fly for 18 to 36 hours, larger balloons will fly longer. When using balloons outside, their flying time may lessen depending on the weather.

  • What do I do with my empty helium tank?

We’ll  pick it up! If you have a long-term rental, we  will swap it out with a full tank.

  • Is there a limit on the number of labeled water I can order?

There is no limit to how much water you order, however we do have a minimum order. This minimum is generally one pallet, in special circumstances, we can do shorter runs but it may have a higher cost associated with it.

  • Will my private label bottled water expire?

The bottled water does not expire, but we do advise against storing it in extreme temperatures because this may compromise the integrity of the product.
